renewed Altamira Museum, approaches us the palaeolithic
cave paintings through the neocave, that reproduces the
human and artistic atmosphere of this age and the magnificent
exhibition on the paintings and its discovery.

The
Natural Park of Oyambre is one of the most valuable
areas of the Cantabrian coast, as much by its geomorphology,
processes of beach formation and estuaries, as by the
flora, fauna, landscape and archaeological sites.

 omillas
is a lovely town located in the west of Cantabria. Well-known
as "Villa de los Arzobispos", it is the host of
the Pontifical University.
As
well as the natural beauty of its beaches, it offers the calmness
in the air when walking among ancestral houses, palaces and
quiet squares.
Among
the samples of contemporary architecture those of the Catalan
modernist style of 19th century are remarkable, as the building
of El Capricho de Gaudí.
